Anti-reflective acrylic and polycarbonate sheet
Antireflective(AR) coatings are thin film optical coatings, usually deposited by vacuum processes but sometimes by wet processes , which improve the performance of display windows by reducing the reflectivity.

This is achieved by controlling the thickness of the coating, consisting of either one or two transparent dielectrics, to give destructive interference at the interfaces. This can be wide ranging over the visible spectrum or tailored for specific requirements in the UV or IR.

In general, cast acrylic sheet has the better optical performance over polycarbonate sheet, which is produced by extrusion process. However the latter has certain physical properties which make it preferred for many applications, in particular it's strength and impact resistence.

AR coated acrylic and polycarbonate for flat screen LED displays
The coatings are optimised for maximum transmittance at 550nm which reduces reflectivity from 8% to less than 0.5% for 2 sided coating. There is a hard sub coat to consolidate the thin AR layer and a top surface layer (AS coating) which reduces finger markings.
Standard sheet size is 310x380 mm for a range of thicknesses from 1.0 to 3.0 mm.
Acrylic sheet can be clear or coloured.
Screens can be CNC machined or laser cut to a customer supplied drawings to an accuracy of +/- 0.2mm

UV transparent windows in AR coated optical grade acrylic sheet
AR coatings on transparent acrylic with transparency extended to UV wavelengths. This can give transmissions of better than 97% at 550nm and 98% at 300nm. Other transmissions between 300 and 350 nm are available.

UV absorbent windows in AR coated optical grade acrylic sheet
A range of transparent acrylic with zero transmission from 370nm up to 480nm rising to greater than98% at 550nm enhances and protects displays from harmful ultra-violet rays.
